Ethical Book Covers

If I pick up a book with vampires on the cover, I want there to be vampires. If I pick up a book with spaceships on the cover, I want spaceships. If I see one with dragons, I want there to be dragons inside the book. Proper labeling. Ethical labeling.

  1. Here here! Also, even if it’s got the right characters, if they’re doing something the characters never (or wouldn’t) actually do, that’s mislabeling too.

    • Indeed. Or if they look totally different to any description given in the book, because then you spend the whole time wondering when the person on the cover (who is clearly the main character) is going to show up!
